In and around Brundall

Brundall is a delightful village situated approximately 6 miles from the Cathedral City of Norwich. It is well served with excellent road links and frequent trains to and from Norwich or the coast.

The village itself is well equipped to cater for your everyday needs with a mini supermarket, post office, pharmacy, restaurants, pubs, dry cleaners, beauty parlour etc.

Adjacent to this is Brundall Railway Station which links the village to Norwich, just two stops away. Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft are also just a short train journey away. With their award winning beaches and harbour, piers, theatres, leisure pools and arcades, there's something for everyone. Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park and Fritton Lake are also within easy reach.

Strumpshaw R.S.P.B. Nature Reserve is also close by. The Nature Reserve offers excellent bird watching opportunities, along with numerous walks and cycle routes through neighbouring villages. Or if you prefer, simply relax and enjoy the abundant wildlife and peaceful surroundings.

But what must be one of the major attractions of Brundall is the quality of fishing available on the River Yare; pike, bream and roach abound! Angling supplies are always available from the well stocked nearby Chandlery store and Angling warehouse.

Local 'Broadland' activities are also available from the local boat yards offering day boat hire, or perhaps launch facilities for your own sailing vessel!

Brundall is the perfect base to explore Norfolk and its many attractions, and is the ideal location for exploring the Broads either walking, cycling or driving.
